Hop on the bus to Jersey Lavender or to Jersey Zoo – Gerald Durrell’s animal sanctuary where you can see endangered species. In Guernsey, we stay in seaside Vale with its lovely beach, ancient castle, and a prehistoric passage called Dehus Dolmen featuring a remarkable carving. Perhaps visit Guernsey’s La Valette Underground Military Museum which covers all aspects of local history on your free day.
