Its City Walls offer a pleasant walkway on both banks of the River Ouse, while York Castle is a commanding tower, set high on a mound giving panoramic cityscape views. We travel to the old spa town of Harrogate with its quirky delights, Turkish baths and famous Bettys Café Tea Rooms.
