We include a guided tour of the resort’s Grade I listed Lytham Hall, a Georgian house set in parkland which houses fine art and furnishings. We spend a day in Liverpool where you can explore at your own pace perhaps taking in the superb museums at Albert Dock or boarding the colourful ferry across the Mersey for the ultimate sightseeing experience. We also visit the fascinating British Commercial Vehicle Museum where you can take a deep delve into nostalgia as you experience the sounds, smells and sights of yesteryear. The museum is housed in the original inspection building of Leyland Motors and is where you can view exhibits such as vintage fire engines, retro buses and lovingly preserved trucks as you listen to real people’s stories.
