Durham City River Wear Cruise
We head to Browns Boathouse to board the Prince Bishop for our river cruise enjoying exceptional views of Durham City’s landmarks along with live commentary. First up, we make a photo stop at the famous Angel of the North, Sir Antony Gormley’s iconic statue which stands 66 feet tall with a wingspan of 177 feet. From here, we continue to Hexham where, you might like to visit the magnificent gothic abbey with its stained glass and notable artefacts, and the Old Gaol attraction, England’s first prison and a historic treasure.
