
Letterkenny is the largest town in County Donegal and promises a taste of traditional Ireland with friendly pubs and welcoming cafes. It is known as ‘The Cathedral Town’ for its gothic style St Eunan’s Cathedral which features a soaring spire. The town’s main street is said to be the longest in Ireland and its County Museum is housed in an old stone building that was once part of Letterkenny Workhouse and features a collection of artefacts relating to the history and
heritage of County Donegal. Elsewhere, you’ll find craft shops and a pretty park to explore. This holiday includes a guided tour of historic Derry~Londonderry, followed by free time, and a morning visit to Donegal Town. We also spend a day exploring spectacular Glenveagh National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the rugged Derryveagh Mountains scenery, sparkling Lough Veagh, colourful gardens and a grandiose Victorian castle.
