Day One. You will be picked up at home and transferred to Dundee to board Ambition. Perhaps explore the ship before the late afternoon departure.

Days Two – Four. You’ll have three full days at sea to relax, sunbathe, and take in the sea air as your ship sails towards Portugal. Enjoy daytime activities such as quizzes, games and various classes or relax in the Green Sea Spa. Tuck into delicious cuisine then settle down for top notch entertainment.

Day Five. Ambition sails into Leixoes, where you could chill out on the beach or take a trip to neighbouring Porto. Tourist attractions here include a Romanesque cathedral, the Palacio da Bolsa and the Torre dos Clerigos bell tower.

Day Six. Another day at sea to relax in the sun.

Day Seven. Ambition cruises to the British overseas territory of Gibraltar, home to centuries old siege tunnels, botanic gardens, and free roaming Barbary macaques. Watch out for the solar eclipse as the moon covers the sun, revealing the sun’s outer atmosphere with a corona effect in a wondrous display. As the sky darkens, the stars and planets become visible, creating an otherworldly setting†.

Day Eight. Almeria today where the main attractions are the city’s old quarter, the Alcazaba fortress, and the unique City Cathedral with its castle-like towers. Perhaps venture inland to the lunar-like landscapes of the Tabernas Desert where many “Spaghetti Westerns” were filmed.

Day Nine. Alicante is today’s treat, a premier holiday hotspot on the Costa Blanca with great beaches and historic sites.

Day Ten. Wake up in the Mediterranean city of Valencia where you could enjoy a cultural stroll, taking in the Plaza de la Reina with its cathedral and gothic bell tower, then onwards to the World Heritage Site Silk Exchange – or tuck into a paella by the sea.

Day Eleven. Ibiza today, a beautiful island with natural parks and whitewashed villages.

Day Twelve. At sea, enjoying Ambition’s excellent facilities.

Day Thirteen. Discover Ceuta, where two continents meet. Head to the Plaza de Africa, visit the Royal Walls, or just enjoy the coastal beauty.

Day Fourteen. Ambition glides into Cadiz, with its golden sands and bars featuring flamenco dancers.

Day Fifteen. Relax at sea and enjoy being spoiled!

Day Sixteen. Vigo today, home to an elegant waterfront and where the pristine Cies Islands, known as the islands of the gods, are just a short boat ride away – or perhaps take a trip to Santiago de Compostela.

Days Seventeen - Nineteen. Enjoy your final days at sea aboard Ambition.

Day Twenty. Morning arrival in Dundee - your transfer vehicle will be waiting to take you home after your sunshine holiday.
