Springtime in Holland heralds the arrival of the bulbfields season, creating a vivid blanket of colourful, swaying flowers adorning the landscape. This sightseeing cruise features a visit to world-famous Keukenhof Gardens - the most spectacular floral display in the world. This attraction is known as the Garden of Europe, with its seven million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths forming a beautiful carpet of springtime blossoms. It is only open for eight weeks each year during which time over one million visitors discover its charms. We also call at Antwerp, Rotterdam and Amsterdam as well as  atmospheric Zaanse Schans, which is home to historic windmills, distinctive green wooden houses, clog workshops and regional costumes.

Your Holiday Itinerary

Day One. From local joining points we head to our overnight ferry enjoying dinner, entertainment and breakfast onboard.

Day Two. We travel to Amsterdam for free time before boarding the MS Monet. Settle into your cabin before joining your fellow guests for cocktails with the crew, then dinner and an evening at leisure.

Day Three. Morning at leisure to explore Amsterdam's attractions. After lunch we visit fascinating Zaanse Schans, a residential area where the 18th and 19th centuries are brought to life with wooden houses, windmills and clog factories. We return to our ship for dinner and an evening at leisure.

Day Four. This morning we cruise to the busy port of Rotterdam. We then travel by coach to world famous Keukenhof Gardens for a full day excursion with a packed lunch. This park will be a blanket of colour with tulips, hyacinths and daffodils in bloom. Stroll around the park and explore amazing displays of spring flowers exhibited in the extensive grounds and indoor pavilions. Look forward to a gala dinner onboard your ship tonight.

Day Five. This morning we cruise to Antwerp which stands on the banks of the River Scheldt and is famous for its centuries old Diamond District. After free time to explore, we return to our ship for dinner and an evening at leisure.

Day Six. After breakfast we disembark and make our way to The Hague for free time in this picturesque city. Later, we head to our overnight ferry back to the UK, enjoying dinner entertainment and breakfast on board.

Day Seven. We travel home after our delightful river cruise.

Step aboard to a world of relaxation. Unwind in the comfortable lounge or enjoy the views from the expansive sun deck. Perhaps pre-book one of the ship’s optional excursions for your free days†. The crew are dedicated to being of service, offering attentiveness and great knowledge along with a warm and friendly welcome. All cabins are ensuite with shower, satellite TV, a safe, hairdryer and air-conditioning and all face outwards, giving views of the river. Upgrades are available for cabins higher on the vessel and some cabins have French balconies. Free Wi-Fi is also available on board.

Overnight Ferry to Continent

Your holiday moves up a gear when you board your overnight ferry for your sailing to the continent. Drop your overnight bag in your cabin then explore the ship or unwind with an aperitif in one of the bars.

On Board Dining

All GLENTON continental holidays include dinner and breakfast onboard. Head to buffet restaurant where your waiter will show you to your table and take your order if you wish to purchase any drinks. Then you’re free to help yourself from the wide selection of tasty dishes from around the world. At breakfast, choose from continental or a fully cooked menu. Alternatively if you fancy treating yourself, why not upgrade to the à la carte restaurant and enjoy fine dining with full waiter service?

Make your way to the show lounge and enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening – or take your place on the dance floor for a wee boogie! Perhaps you’d like to catch a blockbuster movie at the cinema or try your luck at the casino.
