
Wonderful sightseeing takes in the historic port of Sligo, home to a thirteenth century abbey with intricate carvings as well as the County Museum which gives an insight into Sligo’s Stone Age past. We spend a morning in Enniskillen, Ireland’s only island town with quaint jetties and ornate bridges. Look forward to a scenic drive to Donegal Town where you might like to sail on the town’s popular waterbus, explore the ancient castle or visit the Railway Heritage Museum. Staying at the four star Great Northern Hotel which stands in parkland featuring a championship golf course. It has cosy bars and a leisure club, while the pretty seaside town of Bundoran with its sandy beach is a short stroll away.
