A sightseeing feast where we call at the historic town of Trim, home to an imposing Norman castle, followed by a visit to the enchanting walled town of Athlone. Here we board our boat for a relaxing cruise on the mighty River Shannon, gliding past sleepy villages and historical sites. On another day, we head to Dublin for a guided tour of this must-see city, where you’ll find a wealth of attractions including Trinity College, the Guinness Storehouse, a leprechaun museum, Dublin Castle, famous Grafton Street, and a pub dating from the twelfth century. Our final day out takes us firstly to the Irish National Stud & Japanese Gardens, home to beautiful horses, including retired racing legends, and to gorgeous parkland. From here, it’s onwards to Newbridge Silverware Centre & Museum of Style Icons where you’ll find fashion and artefacts from celebrities such as Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and The Beatles.
