Your Excursions

Guided tour of Liverpool
Look forward to a guided tour of the numerous listed buildings, superb museums and notable landmarks that make Liverpool such an exciting city. Afterwards, continue exploring at your own pace.

Mersey Ferry, Port Sunlight & Lady Lever Art Gallery
We follow the time honoured tradition of hopping aboard the ferry across the Mersey then continue to the unique village of Port Sunlight. Founded by ‘Soap King’ William Hesketh Lever in 1888, the village was originally built to house Lever’s Sunlight Soap factory workers. Nowadays it is home to an intriguing museum, splendid architecture and beautiful parkland. We include entry to the village’s Lady Lever Art Gallery where you’ll find outstanding paintings, tapestries, Wedgwood, sculptures and embroideries.

A day in this coastal town where you might like to explore the landmark pier, stroll around the marine lake, relax on the sandy beach, browse the shops in refined Lord Street, visit the botanic gardens or wander along the promenade.
