Overview

Alvaston Hall is a Grade II listed Victorian mansion with half-timbered framing, a striking clock tower and mischievous gargoyles above the porch. A rather splendid country house hidden away in the Cheshire countryside close to Nantwich, it became the beating heart of Cheshire society towards the end of the nineteenth century. Inside you’ll find a grand reception hall with a stained glass window and a colossal fireplace enhanced by intricate Italian ironwork. Alvaston’s attractively furnished bedrooms are located in a modern annex close to the historic manor. Great activities to keep you busy include archery, rifle shooting, table tennis, pilates, zumba and a nine hole golf course.
